How to order?
To order MediMatch Aligners, please follow the steps below:
Full Arch Upper and Lower Scan Impressions
- Send the scan to Medimatch Laboratory using the Scan portal
or - Mail us at, scan@medimatch.co.uk with the completed Lab Prescription form
Once you have completed the above steps and placed an order, here are the next steps in the process:
Treatment plan
After receiving your records, it typically takes a few days for the technicians to create a treatment plan. The treatment plan is a 3D animation of the digital images positioned in the MediMatch Aligner weblink. These images represent the patient’s dentition as prepared by the technicians from the submitted impressions or intraoral scans.
Review and approve the treatment plan, which allows you to map out the treatment goals and align them with the patient’s objectives. If you have any changes to be made to the treatment plan, contact the technician on the email received.
Timeline: 24 – 48 hours
Aligner manufacturing
Once you have approved the treatment plan, the manufacturing process of the aligners will begin.
The technicians will use the approved treatment plan to fabricate the aligners according to the desired treatment objectives.
Timeline: 7 – 10 days
Common uses of the treatment plan
- To show the patient the treatment goals and possible treatment outcomes using the patient link. This can be done at the beginning of treatment or during treatment to address any concerns about non-compliance.
- To monitor the progress of treatment, ensuring it aligns with the treatment plan.
- To verify the proper locations for placing engagers (attachments) or performing interproximal reduction (IPR) if required.
- To serve as compliance checkpoints, assessing progress and ensuring the treatment is on track.
- At the end of treatment, the treatment plan can be compared with clinical photos to determine if the treatment is finished to your satisfaction and the patient’s satisfaction.

When the treatment plan is not part of a package, or the case is not going ahead the charge is £95 per plan.
Discount structure
Per scanner/practice
- First 5 cases = 0%
- Next 10 cases = 15%
- Next 10 cases or over = 25%
- Next 10 cases = 10%
- Next 10 cases = 20%
Example: 25 cases will be 0% for the first 5 cases, 10% over case net 10 cases and 15% over the next 10 cases.
