Complex restorative dentistry

A great example of where we can provide a better idea of a what a dentist will receive as a restoration.

What did we do?

Prepare a model with a material to fit the dentist’s requirements. This was two Emax restorations as well as a porcelain bonded to non-precious metal crown, full non precious metal crown and a 60% yellow gold onlay.

We then provided and prepared the model ourselves and asked the prescribing dentist which restorations they wanted on each tooth.

In this case the following was agreed:

• Emax crown on 21
• 60% yellow gold onlay on 27
• Emax onlay on 17
• Porcelain bonded to non precious metal crown on 26
• Non precious metal crown on 16
