2. Indications, Case Selection, and Treatment Planning

  • Choosing the right candidate for full-arch implant rehabilitation.
  • Planning appropriate timing for implant placement (immediate vs. delayed approach).
  • Learning indications and case selection for FP1 vs. FP2 vs. FP3.

3. Analogue vs. Digital Approach

  • Summary of pick-up interim prosthesis and conventional implant impressions.
  • Evolution of digital full-arch implant restorations.
  • Integration of photogrammetry in intraoral scanning (IOS).
  • Prosthetically driven planning of surgical guides.
  • Digital workflows for interim and definitive full-arch implant restorations.
  • How to eliminate micromovement and achieve reproducible accuracy.
  • Capturing implant positions with a photogrammetry scanner.

4. Digital Planning

  • Full-arch planning with CBCT, IOS, and facially driven principles.
  • Designing and fabricating a full-arch immediate interim prosthesis.
  • Full-arch restoration using IOS and a facial scanner.
  • Prosthesis design choices for strength, aesthetics, and functionality.
  • Material selection for interim and definitive prostheses.

5. FP1

  • Implant planning for FP1 cases.
  • Understanding FP1 concepts: emergence profile, pontic design, and soft tissue management.
  • Managing soft and hard tissues.
  • Multi-unit abutment (MUA) selection and digital verification.

6. Complications, Maintenance & Long-Term Success

  • Understanding possible surgical complications.
  • Maintenance protocols and hygiene recalls.
  • Avoiding prosthetic complications.

Hands-On Component

  • Planning a full-arch case using specialized software.
  • Selecting appropriate implants and multi-unit components.
  • Placing implants on human-sized jaw models.
  • Scanning an All-on-X case with an intraoral scanner, photogrammetry, and facial scan.
  • Simulating a full-arch case workflow with the dental lab.
  • Prescribing and designing FP1 interim and definitive prostheses.
