Variety that pays off
Thanks to the high machine rigidity as well as the powerful spindle, you can process metals. With the wet grinding option, the Vhf S5 is also suitable for wet machining of glass ceramics or titanium. Due to its many innovative features, it works extremely economically and efficiently. Your advantage: maximum variety of indications at a fair price.
Non-stop machining
Thanks to the eightfold blank changer, you get performance that won’t stop. The changer can be loaded with blanks via a small flap in the front and the correct blank for your milling job is then automatically inserted into the clamping device when needed. As a result, you can mill around the clock.
Wet grinding option
The Vhf S5 can be equipped with a wet grinding module. Liquid nozzles are already mounted to the spindle to cool the tool during grinding. This module allows you to grind materials such as glass ceramics.
More efficiency and comfort
With the three integrated ionizers, users of the Vhf S5 considerably reduce their cleaning effort, as static charge of acrylic chips, such as PMMA, is neutralized largely. Air nozzles distribute the ionized air in the working area for excellent results.
Five simultaneously operating axes
The second rotary axis (B axis) with a tilt angle of up to ± 30 degrees enables the precise milling of undercuts.
Wet grinding option
The Vhf S5 is prepared for the connection to an external wet grinding module. For this purpose, liquid nozzles are already attached to the spindle to cool the tool during grinding. In the separate module, an air circulation system separates the mixture of air and liquid into two circuits. Therefore, the wet grinding option can be operated with a dry suction unit.
The QuickFrame magnetic holder enables blanks to be clamped in the Vhf S5 easily and without tools. The holder can be loaded in a few seconds, eliminating the need for time-consuming attachment of blanks with a screwdriver – a significant plus in speed and a reduction in workload for the user. Especially when clamping highly translucent zirconia, damage can be avoided with this holder. One QuickFrame is already included in the scope of delivery of each Vhf S5.
